The habitat and the harsh conditions to which the warthogs are exposed serve as the basis for the film. The biology and behavior of Africa’s boars during the dry season are presented before the film transitions to the hunt. Hunting boars during the drought months is characterized by dusty and long stalking trips and the absolute dry season. The camera is always directly on the hunters, providing up-close hunting scenes.
